The Six Sigma DMAIC method is a data-driven approach for improving processes and solving problems.





Define:

Identify the problem or opportunity for improvement


Set project goals and scope


Define customer requirements



Measure:


Gather data on the current process


Establish baseline performance metrics


Validate measurement systems



Analyze:


Identify root causes of problems or inefficiencies


Use statistical tools to analyze data


Determine key factors affecting process performance



Improve:


Develop potential solutions


Test and implement improvements


Validate results with data



Control:


Implement process controls to maintain improvements


Monitor performance over time
